Major changes in Red aka Thadam’s Hindi remake

It’s well known that hero Ram had acted in an action thriller, titled Red. The film is an official remake of the acclaimed Tamil film, Thadam. Now, after Tollywood, Thadam is going to get a Bollywood remake.

A couple of months back news also came out that popular Bollywood hero Siddharth Malhotra is all set to star in Thadam’s Hindi remake. Now, the latest news coming in from Bollywood media is Siddharth Malhotra is going to be replaced with Aditya Roy Kapur. Though the exact reason behind this major development is yet to be out, buzz is that disappointed with the carefree attitude of the filmmakers, Siddharth Malhotra walked out of the project.

The Hindi version will be going on floors from May and it will be produced by Kabir Singh’s producer Murad Khetani. Mrunal Thakur is in talks for the female lead role in the movie. Debutant Vardhan Ketkar will be helming the film.
