Nani’s Majnu Movie First Week Collections!

From last year’s ‘Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy’, Nani has been a gold mine for Tollywood Producers and Distributors. ‘Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha’, followed by ‘Gentleman’ proved to be good beneficial ventures. His recent release ‘Majnu’ under Vrinchi Varma’s direction, despite getting promising ratings from a section of critics failed to reach the collections of his earlier films.

Nani’s last film Gentleman collected around 8.4 crores in the first weekend whereas, Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy minted 8.1 crores share in first week with very limited screens. Cashing on Nani’s image Majnu’s producer sold the film’s distribution rights for huge amounts and failed to provide the kick start to the film with decent promotions. With 17.5 crores pre-business movie is long way away from the break even point. Adding to that ‘Hyper’ and ‘M S Dhoni – Untold Story’ dickered some decent reviews and this could be stop for Majnu at Tollywood box office.
