During the lockdown period, ace director SS Rajamouli confirmed that his next movie will be with Super Star Mahesh Babu. This announcement has made Super Star fans super happy as this announcement is long-awaited. However, Rajamouli has to wrap up RRR first to even think of a suitable subject for Mahesh.
The initial plan is to launch the project around the second half of 2021 as RRR is scheduled for January 8th release. COVID-19 has thrashed all the plans now. Currently, there is no clarity regarding the RRR shoot and release date. It might release in the second half of 2021 or even get postponed to 2022. A lot of actors including foreigners, technicians need to regroup for this project again.
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu is currently committed to Sarkaru Vaari Paata. With RRR postponement, Mahesh is said to be making plans to do a couple of movies as well before joining hands with Rajamouli. The shooting of Sarkaru Vaari Paata will start from November or December.
