Superstar Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, directed by Parasuram, was supposed to have been released for Sankranthi this year, according to their initial plan. However, the film’s release got postponed due to the release of Rajamouli’s RRR for Sankranthi. Ultimately, RRR’s release also had to be postponed, due to the increasing number of omicron cases in the country.
Mahesh was supposed to begin shooting for SVP shortly after returning from his vacation, but since the actor tested positive for coronavirus, that is now not possible. The shooting for SVP was supposed to have begun this month, but with Mahesh indisposed, it is expected to begin next month. As per the current schedule, SVP is supposed to be released on April 1st.
Given that music director SS Thaman also tested positive for coronavirus recently, the film’s release is expected to be delayed further. The promotions for the film, which were supposed to have begun on Sankranthi, are also said to be postponed as a result. It is now to be seen when SVP will finally arrive.
