Did Mahesh and Sukku had a ego clash?

The widely reported story of Mahesh trying to set up a film with Anil Ravipudi before Sukumar’s film got a new twist in the tale. Sukumar actually wanted to come up with another story and announce film with Mahesh by June.

Mahesh in the meantime got hurt that Sukumar did not take his call seriously and wasted time on writing some other films while keeping his film on back peddle. The first story that Mahesh listened from Sukumar had a village backdrop and needed him to change look, it seems.

While he did get ready to do it, he did not like the second half and asked Sukku, if he will suit to the character, it seems. Sukumar did not reply and hence, he asked for another subject and gave him time, it seems.

Sukumar took this subject to Allu Arjun and the actor accepted. Mahesh did not take it well, as he thought Sukumar is trying to show that he can get another hero. Hence, the actor decided to drop the entire project, it seems. For Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers, this came as a sudden shock, it seems.
