Mahesh Babu has been one of the most popular actors in past two decades in Telugu Film Industry and thanks to the Hindi remakes and dubbed films, he is also popular in the North Indian belts as well. Due to his ex-Miss India wife, Namratha he has good connections in Bollywood as well. While he did get opportunities to star in different films from big production houses, the actor chose to stick to Telugu movies.
But, Bahubali becoming a big hit in all languages seems to have changed the actor’s look out. He after a long time decided to be part of a bilingual in the direction of A.R. Murugadoss. The movie was expected to complete by January but it took till April and soon, the movie will be wrapped up. The producers sounded happy about the movie and the pre release business of the movie has been quoted to cross 125 crores in total.
With Mahesh Babu being a known personality in other languages as well the movie got a record breaking offer of 28 crores for Hindi, Telugu and Tamil satellite rights. Producers of the movie are thrilled about the development and they expressed their happiness over the actor’s pan India appeal and his brand image across Overseas markets. They said, “A.R. Murugadoss being a popular director in India has value added to Mahesh’s brand image and we wish the movie to stand tall in theatrical performance as well, marking for a great combination!”
