Mahesh Manjrekar Backs up Akshay Kumar for Playing Shivaji Maharaj !

We sought a hero that resembled Shivaji Maharaj among the few heroes we had. Akshay’s nose is strikingly similar to Shivaji Maharaj’s. Even though we lack the photos, the sketches we do have are strikingly comparable. So Akshay Kumar was a good fit for the requirements. And since Akshay considers Maharashtra to be both his janmabhoomi and karmabhoomi, he was incredibly eager to play Shivaji Maharaj. He also has excellent Marathi speaking skills, which was a benefit for us.

Diwali 2023 will see the theatrical debut of Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat. Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu are the four languages in which it will be released.

In the meantime, Akshay Kumar released two brand-new OMG 2 movie posters. The movie is a follow-up to Oh My God, which starred Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar and was released in 2012 and became a huge box office success. Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi also play the key characters in OMG 2.
