Superstar Mahesh Babu was one of the first people to have announced his upcoming films, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, for Sankranthi 2022. The film is being directed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame and has Keerthy Suresh as its leading lady.
Now that the rumours and specualtions of Rajamouli’s upcoming film, RRR, which also happens to be one of the most anticipated films in India right now, is being released for Sankranthi 2022, all the films that have been announced for that date have fallen in trouble. The makers of these films are now looking for alternatives, and it was even said that Prabhas decide to not postpone the release of Radhe Shyam as he had consulted with Rajamouli before announcing his film for Sankranthi.
It is now being said that Mahesh has decided to postpone the release of SVP for Rajamouli because his next film happens to be with Rajamouli. Mahesh is said to have been asked to not announce the new release date of his film until Rajamouli’s official announcement about RRR’s release so that people would get to know first-hand from the director himself.
