Mahesh Bhatt Termed as Best Father by Alia

In a recent interview, Alia Bhatt referred to her father Mahesh Bhatt as the “best” and lauded him.

In the upcoming movie “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” actress Alia Bhatt, who will be portrayed by Rani Chatterjee, a smart Bengali journalist, remarked that her father Mahesh Bhatt is “a very good actor, director, and the best father.”

During the ‘Ve Kamleya’ song premiere for their upcoming romance comedy ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ on Tuesday in New Delhi, Alia was asked if she thought Mahesh Bhatt was a fine actor or a filmmaker. “My father is the best father,” said Alia. “He is a very wonderful actor, singer, and director. Karan is also an incredibly engaging actor in films. On sets, he would perform everyone’s duties.

Alia Bhatt added, “Karan Johar used to show the entire scene himself first while acting in everyone’s style and we used to see him and enjoy it a lot. That viewing and showcasing on a daily basis was so entertaining.”

When asked which of his inner actors he finds the most entertaining, Ranveer Singh responded, “I don’t know which personas fulfilled me the most. To be completely honest, the fact that I have the chance to work with the best artists, act, and simply be a part of the creation of movies is a blessing in and of itself.

“Over and above that, every love I have experienced from others is “sone pe suhaga.” I aim to keep developing enduring personalities because this is what I was born to do and what fulfils me.

Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which also features Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in significant parts, seems to be a cinematic feast.

The pair in the movie choose to live with each other’s families before getting married despite having quite different personalities. The movie was filmed in Russia, Jammu & Kashmir, Mumbai, and New Delhi.

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer will re-share screen time in the movie following Zoya Akhtar’s 2019 feature “Gully Boy.”

‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ is a production of Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios.

The film, which was produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta, is scheduled to premiere on July 28.
