Yesterday, in the morning hours an announcement came out that senior filmmaker Allu Arvind will be addressing a press conference. Sources reveal that Allu Arvind planned a press meeting regarding Geetha Govindam issue.
Reportedly, Parasuram Petla is committed to Geetha Govindam 2 under Geetha Arts banner but all of a sudden, a film in the combination of Vijay Deverakonda and Parasuram Petla was announced under Dil Raju’s banner on Sunday. Deeply disturbed by the announcement, Allu Aravind was furious about the behavior of the hero and director and planned to reveal facts in front of the media.
However, the press meet of Allu Arvind is postponed after the representatives of the Producers Guild requested Allu Aravind to call off the press meeting and settle the issue in private. Now, the latest we hear is that director Parasuram Petla is the main culprit here.
Reports suggest that the Sarkaru Vaari Paata director took advances from almost ten production houses of Tollywood and committed movies. Banners that are supposed to produce films with director Prasuram as per his verbal commitments are Dil Raju’s SVC, Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta’s 14 Reels Plus, Suresh Babu’s Suresh Productions, Manchu Vishnu’s AVA, Vasu’s IDream, BVSN Prasad’s SVCC, Kedar S’s Falcon.
Inside reports suggest that the list could be even longer. Fun fact is that the director hasn’t started work on even a single film. No wonder his acts created a major rift among the filmmakers in Tollywood. Will Parasuram Petla open up about the issue? Remains to be seen.
