Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s film “Guntur Kaaram” have faced several cast and crew changes but are now progressing well in filming. Despite initial plans to start promotions with the release of the first single, Mahesh Babu, the lead actor, has decided against early promotions.
He advised the team not to release teasers or promos, considering they had already unveiled a glimpse on Late Superstar Krishna Gaaru’s Birth Anniversary. Mahesh’s stance is that it’s too soon for more content, given the film’s planned release on Sankranthi.
Initially, the team aimed to release the first single this month, but Mahesh deferred its release as he felt it lacked a suitable occasion. He suggested scheduling the release for Vinayaka Chavithi or Dasara festival. Meanwhile, filming is progressing rapidly, with the team working energetically day in and day out. They intend to wrap up shooting by November.
“Guntur Kaaram,” directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is Mahesh Babu’s third collaboration with him after “Athadu” and “Khaleja.” Produced by Haarika and Hassine Creations, the film introduces Sree Leela and Meenakshi Choudhary sharing the screen with Mahesh for the first time.
