The spreading of the omicron variant of the coronavirus pandemic has become a cause for concern in the country right now, with several northern states imposing restrictions, curfews and other covid precautions to make sure that not much damage is done.
Adding to the list of Tollywood’s celebrities who have tested positive for coronavirus is Superstar Mahesh Babu, who announced today that he has tested positive for coronavirus, with mild symptoms, despite taking all the necessary precautions. He said that he is currently in isolation at his home, and has also urged everyone who has come in contact with him over the past few days, to get themselves tested. He has also urged all those who haven’t gotten vaccinated to do so immediately, as it reduces the severity of the symptoms, should one be contracted by the virus.
Mahesh Babu recently got back from the YS, after having undergone knee surgery. He was expected to resume shooting for his upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata very soon, but with the actor now testing positive, the shooting would be postponed until a later time. Here’s wishing the actor a speedy recovery.
