Director Mahesh Babu P revealed new details about his upcoming film Andhra King Taluka starring Ram Pothineni.
He said that the movie is an emotional story that explores the strong bond between a fan and his idol a subject rarely shown in Indian cinema. The idea came to him after he saw how deeply one audience member connected with a film which made him realise this relationship deserved to be told on big screen.
Mahesh Babu P also spoke about the unique title. Since the story takes place in United Andhra Pradesh in 2002, he chose the term ‘Andhra King’.
To represent the fan’s pride and identity, he added ‘Taluka’, giving the film a deeper meaning that audiences will understand while watching.
He praised Ram for giving a powerful and dedicated performance as Sagar. Mahesh thanked the cast and Mythri Movie Makers for their support. The film releases on November 27th.
