Mahesh Babu’s last film was Guntur Kaaram which released during Sankranthi 2024. After that he is fully focused on his big-budget film Varanasi directed by Rajamouli.
The film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 7th 2027.
Since Mahesh Babu has never done a proper pan-India film before Varanasi is expected to be a game changer in his career and may bring him global recognition.
After finishing Varanasi, Mahesh plans to start back-to-back projects. He is also demanding a huge remuneration for his upcoming films as per the reports.
Mythri Movie Makers is likely to produce his next film while talks are also going on with Asian Suniel for another project. Mahesh aims to release three films in the next three years after Varanasi.
