The latest Tamil sensation Maamannan is all set to hit the screens in Telugu as Nayakudu. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil, and Keerthy Suresh are the lead cast in the political and action thriller written and directed by Mari Selvaraj. The film Maamannan is turning out to be a blockbuster, and the Telugu version is getting ready for release. Today, the film’s theatrical trailer has been unveiled. Superstar Mahesh Babu and ace director SS Rajamouli did the honours.
The trailer of the movie begins on an interesting note with father and son played by Vadivelu and Udhayanidhi Stalin standing on top of a hill and watching the city. “I might be singing the same song, but I will sing it as long as I live. I shall rip my gut out, transform it into a lute and make its strings echo in every street. I will keep seeking the ears which want to hear the truth,” says Vadivelu.
Then, Fahadh Faasil’s character is introduced as a castesist and dictatorial politician. The film is about the fight of the father and son against injustice. Symbolism and the presence of animals play a vital role in showing the significance of a democratic world.
Udhayanidhi Stalin is too good in his role, and Vadivelu surprises with a serious role. Fahadh Faasil makes his presence felt as the antagonist, wherein Keerthy Suresh appeared as the leading lady.
The film is backed by Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant movies. The technical crew includes Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman, cinematographer Theni Eswar, and editor Selva.
The Telugu leading distribution houses Asian Multiplexes Pvt Ltd and Suresh Productions together will be releasing the movie in the Telugu states on July 14th.
