New year has arrived and in some countries the first day of the year is already over too. For us mere mortals of South India who live to enjoy cinema, especially Telugu Cinema new year, is the time when a popular hero announces an exciting combination for his upcoming movie. Mahesh Babu, the reigning Superstar of Telugu Cinema, has been silent about his future projects while there were many speculations and rumours about them. Even one of them is in controversy and legal battle too. But the hero chose to concentrate on the positivity and quite opposite to his shy self, he announced his upcoming projects from Mahesh23 to Mahesh26 with director and producer details.
He wished all his fans and well wishers a happy new year and proceeded thanking A R Murugadoss for making a movie with him, a dream come true for him. He then went on to announce his next movies.The details are: Mahesh 24 with Siva Koratala as director and DVV Entertainments as the producer. After that, the landmark film, Mahesh25 will be directed by Vamsi Paidipally and will be produced by Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt in collaboration. Mahesh26 will see the classical Athadu combination reuniting once again after 7 to 8 years. Trivikram Srinivas who has been in discussions with Mahesh about their next collaboration for quite some time has finally decided that he has the right story to go forward.
The movie will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers and will start shooting once Trivikram finishes his immediate next movie with Jr. NTR after Pawan Kalyan’s movie. Fans were overjoyed with this confirmation of future line up by the actor himself. They were waiting for the hero to announce his 25th movie and give clarification about his movie with Trivikram Srinivas which was in long discussion. Some thought he would also talk about his movie with Puri Jagannadh, Jana Gana Mana, that was announced by the filmmaker but the actor chose to keep his silence regarding the movie, implying he is in no mood to work with Puri in recent future.
