Telugu films have started to release in theatres once again, from July 30th, but no big film or any film with a good buzz has yet announced their release dates, due to one major issue. The issue lies with the ticket pricing in the state of Andhra Pradesh, where the government issued a GO, limiting all the ticket prices to a bare minimum. Considering the current situations, this would prove to be costly for filmmakers, which is why Tollywood biggies have decided to meet with the AP CM and sort things out.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, along with several others, recently met with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, about the ticketing issue, but nothing came to a conclusion, which is why Chiranjeevi is going to meet the AP CM once again, with his delegation. According to the latest reports, it is being said that Superstar Mahesh Babu and Stylish Star Allu Arjun have shown interest in meeting with the AP CM, along with Chiranjeevi, in order to convince the CM on the issue.
Chiranjeevi is expected to meet with Jagan on September 2nd, which marks the death anniversary of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, the father of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. On the other hand, films that have announced their release date in the first week of September have postponed it to the second week, in anticipation of this meeting with Jagan.
