Mahesh Abhimanyudu or Agent Shiva!

The title for big hero films needs to balance their image and the story as well. Many directors went ahead with different titles to routine ones. But yet times not all of the films clicked despite of title being fantastic. Still it is important to satisfy the fans and also the demand of the script. Not many directors will be confident till the last schedule and they announce the title just before the promotions kick start.Most importantly in Telugu, the titles of big hero films should be given more importance. Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan have been accepting the titles like Jalsa, Brahmostavam, Seethammavakitlo Srimalle Chettu, Attharintiki Daredi if they feel the story and script demands such a title rather than their character names or image oriented names becoming titles.

Not every film that these actors are part off are made with the soft themes, so finding a suitable title does become a great headache.Mahesh’s latest film with A R Murugadoss has also been going through such labour pains as the title hasn’t yet be finalised. The film is nearing it’s final leg of shooting with a huge schedule planned in and around Ahemdabad. The film is planned for a release in Summer in Telugu and Tamil. In the film, Mahesh is said to be playing the role of a Raw Agent who fights against Terrorism. But there are speculations too that he will be a cop fighting for a special social cause.

According to the strong buzz, the movie team planned a first look release of sorts for the Diwali. So many fans and general audience are expecting them to announce at least the title for Diwali. As of now the makers are torn between Agent Shiva and Abhimanyudu. So they registered both the titles and will surely announce the title once the team decides and finalises. Apparently, SuperStar Krishna was known for playing Arjunudu in Kurushektram and if Mahesh decides on Abhimanyudu it will be a nod to such nostalgia. Also the story of the Agent represents the person stuck in an evil plan like Abhimanyu in Padmavyuha in Mahabharata. Well, let’s see what the team will decide. The movie is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, produced by Tagore Madhu and NV Prasad. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the lead.
