The Nag Ashwin directorial venture, Mahanati, featuring Keerthy Suresh in the titular role, playing Savitri, was the talk of the town when it was released. The film was hailed for the way it depicted the life story of one of the most legendary actresses in the history of Indian Cinema, and Keerthy even went to win a National Award for her performance as Savitri.
Mahanati also featured Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda in important roles, with the two of them paired together. According to the latest reports, Samantha and Vijay will be teaming up very soon, for a big project. It is already known that Vijay will be seen in director Siva Nirvana’s film next, which is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The official announcement of the same is yet to be made.
Samantha previously worked with Siva Nirvana for Majili, which turned out to be a major success. On the other hand, several Bollywood actresses were initially considered for the part, including Kiara Advani, but Samantha has been finalised, given that the actress has made her impact in Bollyoowd as well, with The Family Man series.
