Mahanati Director Nag Ashwin to Direct Prabhas

Prabhas dedicated five years of his career to SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise which earned him international recognition. Cashing in on the popularity, he has signed Saaho with director Sujeeth, which was promoted as a pan-Indian film and released in multiple languages. However, Saaho turned out to be a colossal disappointment because of its lackluster story. Reportedly, Prabhas was shattered with the outcome of Saaho and took his own time to bounce back. As the actor is shooting for his upcoming flick with director Radha Krishna Kumar, he has announced his 21st film.

For his upcoming flick, the Mirchi actor will join hands with director Mahanati, who helmed the epic Mahanati. Today, Vyjayanthi Movies took to social media to announce the news and released a small video on the production house reaching a milestone 50 years in the industry. Reportedly, the untitled film will also be a pan-Indian project, which will be released in different languages. More details regarding the film and the cast and crew will be announced in the coming days. As soon as the announcement was made, Prabhas’s fans are over the moon and the #Prabhas21 tag is already trending on Twitter.
