Prasanth Varma is the showrunner for Mahakali, the third chapter in the PVCU following the success of HanuMan. The film is backed by RKD Studios and produced by Rizwan Ramesh Duggal with Puja Aparna Kolluru directing it.
Bhoomi Shetty plays the lead role of Mahakali delivering a strong and intense performance as the divine character.
Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna known for his recent film Dhurandhar, is making his entry into the PVCU as Shukracharya.
On his birthday Prasanth Varma shared a new still from the sets and confirmed that the actor has completed his part of the shoot.
The film has completed 100 days of shooting and has now entered its final 40-day schedule in Hyderabad while VFX work is progressing. The release date will be announced soon.
