Prasanth Varma has written the story as part of his Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe which began with the blockbuster success of HanuMan.
Directed by Puja Aparna Kolluru and the film revolves around a powerful battle between Dharma and Adharma. Akshaye Khanna appears in a fierce and unrecognizable role as Shukracharya the powerful guru of the Asuras.
His look and screen presence have created strong curiosity. Produced by RKD Studios, Mahakali promises grand visuals, impressive VFX and a rich mythological world.
Sriya Reddy, Bhoomi Shetty and Rohit Saraf are also part of the cast. The film is scheduled to release on January 8th during the Sankranti season for sure.
