It is already reported that Mahaan, the much-awaited multi-starrer featuring Kollywood star Chiyaan Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram in the lead roles is going to skip its theatrical release and opt for a direct to digital release on Amazon Prime Video. Reportedly, the film’s all South language versions will be out on February 10th on the streaming platform.
Meanwhile, this afternoon Amazon Prime Video management has unveiled the film’s official teaser. The 45 seconds teaser showcased the lifestyle of Vikram as a common man who leads a happy life with his son. Later, the proceedings take a u-turn as Gandhi Mahaan(Vikram) turn as a gangster and his son(role played by Dhruv Vikram) will decide to lock horns with him. How will Mahaan handle the circumstances? Is expected to be presented with an intense action drama.
Being directed by acclaimed Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj, the film also stars talented actress Vani Bhojan in a key role. Originally bankrolled by Lalit Kumar under 7 Studios banner, Mahaan has its music by Santhosh Narayan.
