Every now and then, some movies manage to surround themselves with an impressive amount of buzz, due to various reasons, and this works both in their favour and against them as well. When the film manages to live up to expectations, it turns out to be a feast for the producers, but if the film doesn’t live up to expectations, then it becomes a nightmare.
Sharwanand’s upcoming film, Maha Samudram, directed by Ajay Bhupati of RX 100 fame, is currently in the same situation, with a lot of buzz surrounding the film. Actor Siddharth is making his comeback to Tollywood after several years, and the promos, first look posters and everything else about the film that’s been released so far has impressed the audiences immensely, further increasing the expectations on the film.
The film is being touted as an epic romance and a high voltage action entertainer, which features an ensemble cast including Rao Ramesh and Jagapathi Babu among others, while Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel are the leading ladies of the film. The film is scheduled to release on October 14th, and it is a double-edged sword simply because it has the chance of becoming one of the biggest hits this year or becoming a huge disappointment. Here’s hoping that the film will turn out to be a major success.
