Maestro: Gearing up for a direct OTT release on this special day

It has been reported that hero Nithiin’s new film, Maestro is going to skip its theatrical release and opt for a direct OTT release. Noted streaming platform Disney Plus Hotstar has bags the film’s digital rights. As per the inside reports, Disney management has acquired Maestro rights for Rs 32 crore.

Now, the latest news is that Disney Plus Hotstar team is planning to stream Maestro on August 15th as an Independence Day special. An official announcement regarding the same will be out soon, confirm sources.

Being directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, Maestro has Nabha Natesh in the female lead role. Tamannaah will be seen in a key role in Maestro which is an official remake of Hindi hit, Andhadhun. Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy bankrolled the movie.
