Actor Madhavan, who created a huge sensation with his films like Cheli, Sakhi, Yuva and many more as a youthful romantic hero, has never worked in direct Telugu film. He has been a star in Tamil Cinema and then entered Hindi cinema to be part of films like Tanu weds Manu and 3 Idiots. He took break from the movies, to reduce his weight and look like a beast for Saala Khadoos/Irudhu Suttru. He made the biggest blockbuster in Tamil Cinema, this year, Vikram Vedha along with Vijay Sethupathi.
Now, the actor is busy signing films in different languages and also a series for Amazon Prime. He recently, agreed to be a part of Savyasachi, movie directed by Chandoo Mondeti with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya as the lead. Chandoo has already given a narration and Madhavan, liked his character and overall script.
The sources in the know revealed, “Madhavan has been approached by Chandoo Mondeti recently. The actor has been open to the films, that are high on concept and have a good script too. So Chandoo thought bringing a known face like him on board will help boost the project and also the character needs such a screen presence. Hence, he approached him and the actor is excited. All the details are being worked out and once it is all done, an official announcement will be made,” said the source.
