Ravi Kishan became one of the most sorted out villains in our telugu film industry in a very less time. After his successful portrayal of the most dangerous and unpredictable villain character, Maddali Siva Reddy in Race Gurram, he was floored with many offers and he repeatedly proved his acting capabilities in films like Supreme.
This scary man on screen is not actually a bad person in real life. In fact he is Bhojpuri Superstar, one who is extremely friendly and welcoming. We had a chance to interact with him during the Indywood Film Festival at RFC and we were quite pleased to learn about his future plans and the person he is in general.
He comes from a industry and a place where films are more B-Grade entertainers than mainstream like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Malayalam industry. The reputation for such industry came due to their inclination towards the more action based films and less script oriented films. Ravi Kishan acted in more than 400 films and proved his metal, but he is still unhappy about the kind of films they and claimed they are a market of 32 crore people, larger than any regional film industry but still lack in quality film-making. He expressed his interest his taking the new technology to the industry and start investing in scripts more than just rehashes of popular bollywood films.
He said he is very happy with the reception he is receiving from the Telugu Audience and said he will always be indebted to Surrender Reddy for giving him a big role like Siva Reddy in Race Gurram. He also thanked Allu Arjun for letting him have a great and equal role to him. He said he is in talks with few big productions and details will soon be announced. Here is wishing him all the best in all his future endeavors.
