Director Kalyan Shankar, known for his successful debut with “MAD,” has secured a promising two-film deal with Sithara Entertainment. His journey began as a writer for the acclaimed film “Jathi Rathnalu,” and he further showcased his talents by donning a special role in “MAD” besides directing it.
Sithara Entertainment, impressed by Kalyan’s skills, has offered him the opportunity to helm two films, one of which will feature a well-established actor. Currently, Kalyan is dedicated to crafting the sequel, tentatively titled “MAD 2,” which is already in the pipeline.
The grapevine suggests that the second film under this deal might star Sharwanand, adding more star power to Kalyan Shankar’s directorial ventures. However, this project is expected to commence only after the completion of “MAD 2.”
The shooting for the sequel is slated to kick off by the end of March or early April, marking an exciting phase in Kalyan Shankar’s directorial career with Sithara Entertainment.
