In 2023, Kalyan Shankar’s comedy-drama “MAD” became a huge hit, drawing large audiences to theaters despite its modest budget. Now, news of a sequel titled “MAD Max” has surfaced, with the original cast and crew returning for double the entertainment.
The trio of Sangeeth Sobhan, Ram Nithin, and Nithin Narne will reprise their roles in this project. The film’s success extended beyond theaters, gaining popularity after its OTT release.
The original “MAD” featured Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananathika Sanilkumar, and Gopikaa Udyan in its talented cast. Directed by Kalyan Shankar, the movie marked Haarika Suryadevara’s debut as a producer, with Sai Soujanya as the co-producer. Naga Vamsi presented the film, while Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music.
The storyline revolves around three friends, Manoj (Ram Nitin), Ashok (Narne Nitin), and Damodar (Sangeet Shobhan), who bond in an engineering college, forming the group MAD. “MAD Max” is set to start filming later this month, promising even more laughter and fun.
