Poliemera 2 has been making a lot of noise in the last few days. The film is the sequel to the OTT release Polimera and has been released in theatres today. Let’s review it here.

As Jangaiah digs deeper, suspicions rise, particularly as Komaraiah’s family withdraws support. The narrative unfolds with the entry of the newly appointed Sub-Inspector, Ravindra Nayak, revealing startling connections between Komaraiah and an ancient temple in Jastipalli and the renowned Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Kerala. The movie presents a series of captivating twists and turns.
Performances: Satyam Rajesh excels once more in his portrayal of the enigmatic Komaraiah, showcasing versatility and intensity in his performance. Rakendu Mouli’s role as the investigating officer, Kamakshi Bhaskarala’s portrayal of Komaraiah’s wife, and the supporting cast all contribute well to the film’s performance. Baladitya was also neat in his role. The performances in the film is what catches the imagination of many.
Technical Aspects: Gyaani delivers the perfect background score, intensifying the atmosphere and enhancing even the most mundane moments. The cinematography, while acceptable, leaves room for improvement given the rich settings and context. The editing, though not flawless, manages to navigate the complex storytelling, earning some leniency. However, the writing falls short of expectations, especially when considering the historical significance of the temple backdrop.

A more profound exploration of this enigmatic temple could have provided a far more captivating storyline. Nevertheless, Polimera 2 has been made on a decent note has passable thrills, and can be given a shot once if you have nothing else to do.
