After a gap of nearly three years, Samantha returned to a full-length lead role with Maa Inti Bangaaram. Directed by Nandini Reddy, the movie carried good expectations before release. The teaser and trailer received a positive response, and the film released in theatres on June 19th.
It got a positive response from audiences right from the first show, helping it post strong collections on its opening day. The film reportedly achieved break-even within two days and continued its successful run on the third day as well.
