M.S. Raju’s Ambitious Mystic Thriller ‘Agadha’ To Storm Theatres On August 14
Mega filmmaker M.S. Raju is set to return to the big screen with his most ambitious venture, Agadha, a mystic divine thriller that promises a unique blend of mythology, mystery and breathtaking cinematic spectacle. Produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner and presented by Ajay KR, the film will have a grand worldwide release on August 14, 2026.
The makers have officially announced the release date following the phenomenal response to the teaser, which has amassed over 14 million views across digital platforms. The teaser’s striking visuals, eerie mood, powerful background score and intriguing premise have generated tremendous curiosity, making Agadha one of the most anticipated releases in its genre.
Confident about the film’s content and theatrical appeal, the team believes Agadha will offer audiences an experience that goes well beyond conventional thrillers. Every promotional asset released so far has reflected the film’s rich production values and larger-than-life visual canvas.
Calling Agadha his dream project, M.S. Raju said the teaser reveals only a small part of the story. He added that the film takes viewers into an unexplored mystical world filled with divine elements, gripping suspense, emotional depth and stunning visuals, all woven into an engaging cinematic journey. He also praised the commitment and performances of every actor in the film.
Kamakshi Bhaskarla, who plays Mahadevi, said the character is among the most challenging and memorable roles she has portrayed. Shravan Reddy, reuniting with M.S. Raju after Dirty Hari, expressed confidence that the film’s unexpected twists and immersive storytelling will leave audiences pleasantly surprised.
Apart from Kamakshi and Shravan, the film features Ulka Gupta, Jovika Vijay Kumar and Sijju in pivotal roles.
