Lyca Productions bags RRR Tamil rights for a record amount

It has been made official. The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the massive film RRR have been snapped by the leading production house Lyca Productions. It is said that they have shelled out a record amount for the rights. SS Rajamouli is the director of the movie and his movies did superbly in the Tamil state. His movies Eega, Baahubali 1, and 2 are huge money-spinners. Ram Charan and NTR are known faces as well.

RRR is being made on a huge scale. Thus the production house Lyca Productions has to shell huge amounts to beat the competition. They tweeted, “We are delighted and proud to announce The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of THE BIGGEST PAN INDIA FILM #RRRMovie is acquired by us..”

The shooting of RRR is currently happening at a brisk pace. It is known that the theatrical release will be on the 13th of October.
