Amidst good buzz, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s emotional love drama, Love Story had hit the screens worldwide yesterday. Opened largely to the positive response, the film has registered solid revenues at the ticket windows.
As per the trade reports, Love Story’ has collected a whopping Rs 6.8 crore share on its first fay in twin Telugu states. As per the Rentrak reports, the film has witnessed $307,103 from the premieres at the US box office and will comfortably cross $500K by the end of the first day. Taking the first day collections from the rest of the India and rest of the world, the film has collected close to Rs 9 crore share on its first day at the worldwide box office, say sources. Love Story has also created All India Record by collecting a massive of approximately Rs 13-14 crore range gross on its first day after the Covid second wave and gave a new ray of hope to the Telugu cinema business.
Directed by Sekhar Kammula, Love Story addresses key issues a couple will face in the love story. The film has superhit music composed by Pawan CH. Narayan Das Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao produced Love Story in collaboration with Sekhar Kammula’s Amigo Creations banner. Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s performance and the chemistry between them has been receiving positive feedback from the moviegoers.
