Lokesh Prepares For A Massive Comeback

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s highly awaited film Coolie starring Rajinikanth failed to meet expectations. Though the movie grossed great worldwide but it ended up as a loss in key regions like Tamil Nadu and the Telugu states.

Everyone felt the film relied too much on Rajini’s star power and cameos rather than a strong story.

Even Lokesh’s loyal followers admitted it was his weakest film so far especially compared to his earlier hits Kaithi, Master and Vikram.

After a short vacation Lokesh returned and quietly visited theatres in Chennai, sitting among the audience to study their reactions.

Sources say he carefully noted the moments that worked and those that didn’t. Despite this setback buzz in the industry suggests Lokesh is already planning a grand multi-starrer featuring Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. If true this could mark a powerful comeback for the director.
