Lokesh Kanagaraj Teases Kaithi 2 and Rolex Projects

star filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj’s latest project, “Leo,” has taken the box office by storm, amassing an impressive nearly 500 crores in earnings, and it’s also an integral part of the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe (LCU). The film stars the immensely popular Thalapathy Vijay.

It’s common knowledge among fans that “Kaithi” (also known as “Khaidi”) was the inaugural film in this cinematic universe. During the audio and trailer launch event for Karthi’s upcoming film, “Japan,” Lokesh Kanagaraj was greeted with an overwhelmingly positive response.

In a momentous announcement during his speech, Lokesh revealed that “Kaithi 2” would be the next installment to look forward to, further thrilling fans of the franchise. Moreover, a film centered around the character Rolex, likely from the LCU, is in the pipeline and will be released later.

One character that has garnered immense love from fans is Dilli, portrayed by Karthi, and Lokesh’s statement regarding the upcoming “Kaithi 2” has left enthusiasts elated. Excitingly, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s future endeavors include directing none other than the legendary Superstar Rajinikanth. The tentative title for this eagerly anticipated project is “Thalaivar 171,” and production is set to commence in the near future.
