Lokesh Kanagaraj Forms Fresh Team For His Next Big Project

Lokesh Kanagaraj, one of South India’s most entertaining directors, last delivered Coolie with Rajinikanth.

After films like Maanagaram, Kaithi, Master, Vikram, Leo, and Coolie, there were reports that he would direct a film with Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan together.

But due to creative differences Lokesh stepped away. This created buzz that he might instead focus on Kaithi 2, the sequel to his blockbuster Kaithi.

Now Lokesh has officially started work on his next film. He has put together a fresh writing team, and Santhosh Moni confirmed this by sharing a photo of the team with the caption “#LK7 #team”. Script work has begun, but it is still a mystery whether the project is Kaithi 2 or a new story.

Fans are excited to see him return with a strong film. Meanwhile Lokesh has started shooting for his acting debut, DC, directed by Arun Matheswaran, with Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead.
