List of this week theatrical and OTT releases

Like every week this week also a few films and web shows are ready to entertain the audience on both theatrical and OTT domains. Now, we bring you the list of films/web shows releasing in cinemas and on various digital platforms during this weekend.

Theatrical Releases:

1) Naane Varuvean

Directed by Selvaraghavan, Naane Varuvean starring Dhanush in the lead role is gearing up to hit the screens on September 29th. The film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu as Nene Vasthunnaa.

2) Ponniyin Selvan-1

The first part of Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s ambitious project, Ponniyin Selvan, PS-1 is slated for a pan-India release on September 30th. The film has Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Prakash Raj, Karthi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shobita Dhulipala among others in key roles.

OTT releases:

1) Captain

Hero Arya’s sci-fi drama, Captain had a theatrical release in the first week of September. The film is gearing up for OTT premieres on Zee5 on September 30th.

2) Cobra

Hero Vikram’s film, Cobra under the direction of Ajay Gnanamuthu had a theatrical release on August 31st. The film is gearing up for OTT release on SonyLIV and Simply South platforms on September 30th.

3) Plan A Plan B

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, Plan A Plan B starring Ritesh Deshmukh, Tamannaah, Kusha Kapila in lead roles is all set for direct-to-OTT release on Netflix on September 30th.

4) Mad Company

Noted OTT platform Aha’s Tamil department’s web series Mad Company is gearing up for premieres on September 30th.

5) 777 Charlie

Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty’s emotional drama, 777 Charlie had a theatrical release in June. The film is ready for OTT premieres on Amazon Prime Video on September 30th.

6) Karm Yuddh

Reputed OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar’s Hindi language web series, Karm Yuddh is ready for OTT premieres on September 30th.

7) Hocus Pocus2   

English language web show, Hocus Pocus second season is ready for OTT premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 30th.

8) Bullet Train

English language film, Bullet Train is gearing up for OTT premieres on Zee5 on September 30th.

9) Last Seen Alive

A English language film, titled, Last Seen Alive is slated for direct-to-OTT release on Netflix on September 30th.
