‘Leo’ Disliked by Telugu Producer and Vijay Fans Upset!

The Telugu producer, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, who distributed the film “Leo” in Telugu states, initially bought it for 20Cr. Despite a strong start in its first week and reaching the breakeven point due to hype and festival holidays, the movie’s performance drastically declined afterward.

Even though the solid numbers from the first week protected the buyers, Naga Vamsi openly admitted in a recent interview that he didn’t like the film. This decision is significant as Naga Vamsi, from Sithara Entertainments, had previously mentioned that “Leo” would be his first and last dubbed film.

Speculations suggest that negative reactions from Thalapathy Vijay’s fans on social media might have influenced Vamsi’s stance against dubbing films, prompting his decision to disassociate from them. Meanwhile, “Leo” is currently streaming on Netflix in India in multiple languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and soon in Hindi and English.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, and others. Produced by Seven Screen Studio, Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for this project.
