Lengthy runtime for Vikram’s Cobra

Tamil star Vikram’s sci-fi thriller, Cobra under the direction of Ajay Gnanamuthu is all set to hit the screens on August 31st. Along with Tamil, the film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu with the same title.

Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that Cobra cleared censor formalities and passed with U/A certificate. Reportedly, the film’s runtime is locked as 3 hours 3 minutes. Will this lengthy screen time work in favour for the film? Remains to be seen.

Co-starring former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan in the antagonist role, Cobra has Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. AR Rahman is the music composer and NV Prasad is releasing the film across twin Telugu states.
