Legendary director’s take on Project K

Not many are aware that when Prabhas’ project under the direction of Nag Ashwin was announced in 2020, senior director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is roped in for direction supervision job. Later, due to reasons unknown he walked out of the project.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview when Singeetam was asked about the same, the creative director said that he was asked to give inputs on the script and opinion on the key aspects. After my job was done I quitted and there are no differences with the team as speculated by a section of media, said the legendary director who earlier made path-breaking films like Aditya 369 and Pushpaka Vimana.

Coming back to Prabhas- Nag Ashwin’s Project, titled, Project K, the film has Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in key roles. Ashwini Dutt is the producer for this massive pan-India sci-fi thriller which is expected to hit the screens in 2024.
