Ram Charan is currently occupied with Megastar Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva’s Acharya on one side, and with SS Rajamouli’s RRR on the other side. He has very few days left to shoot for, on Acharya, and a few portions to complete for RRR.
It was also recently announced that he would be teaming up with none other than director Shankar for his next, and the pre-production work on the film had also begun just before the onset of the second wave of coronavirus. Thaman was finalised as the music director for the film, Dil Raju was the producer, and the heroine of the film was being finalised. However, the film soon fell into trouble after Lyca Productions filed a petition on Shankar in the Madras High Court, as he had moved on to direct another project without completing the shoot for Indian 2. The verdict on this case will be out on June 4th.
In case the verdict comes out in favour of Shankar, then Ram Charan can go back to his film with the director. However, if the verdict comes out in favour of Lyca Productions, then Shankar would have to complete Indian 2 and get back to Ram Charan, which would take up a year nearly. With such confusion and uncertainty, Ram Charan’s next project remains a mystery, with the actor once again in search of the right director for his next.
