Bharat Ane Nenu, released on 20th of April and the movie collected huge in the first weekend and first week. It continued to perform steady in the next few weeks. Even after Naa Peru Surya and Mahanati release, the movie is collecting well enough. Mahesh Babu after two disasters delivered a big hit and he is now, enjoying the vacation in Spain with his family. But his movie is in legal trouble now.
In the film, Mahesh Babu’s party name is Navodayam. A party already exists on that name it seems. The movie gained a lot of praise for being more in favour of what it wanted to tell rather than targeting political parties and leaders. Still, the movie has ended up using the party symbol and name, that belongs to Dasari Ramu.
Dasari Ramu, moved to court saying that Navodayam is his party name and even the symbol used belongs to his party. He also said that his party is identified by Election Commission and the party symbol is given by EC. So, be sent legal notices for using his party name and symbol without prior notice and his permission. Siva Koratala did not want any kind of controversy for his movie and hence, he stayed away from mentioning any kind of aspects that could have put the film in any kind of trouble. Still, he seems to have not seen this coming.
