Legal Notice Changes The Game For Ranveer Singh

The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has withdrawn its non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh in the ongoing Don 3 controversy.

Earlier, FWICE had asked its members not to work on the actor’s future projects after he exited Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3.

The move came following a complaint from producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, who claimed that nearly Rs. 45 crore had been spent on the film’s pre-production.

After Ranveer sent a legal notice FWICE reconsidered its decision. FWICE President BN Tiwari said the directive was withdrawn following requests from IMPPA, the Producers Guild and CINTAA.

He added that all parties should resolve the issue through discussion. Ranveer has remained silent publicly saying professional matters should be handled with respect and maturity.
