Ashu Reddy has urged media houses, content creators and social media platforms not to publish or share any defamatory content about her, following an order from the Telangana High Court.
The issue began after an NRI named Dharmendra filed a case, alleging that Ashu took over Rs 9 cr from him over time with a promise of marriage and later cheated him. The matter is currently under court review.
Responding to this Ashu said that many unverified and hurtful reports are being spread across TV channels, news websites, YouTube and social media.
She stressed that the issue should be decided in court not in public platforms.
She clarified that she supports responsible journalism but requested everyone to respect her privacy and reputation. Ashu also thanked those who have already removed such content.
