Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Peter Haag. The complaint was submitted to the Judicial Magistrate in Andheri, Mumbai and the court has issued a notice asking Haag to respond by December 12th.
Celina’s lawyer, Niharika Karanjawala, said that the complaint describes many years of physical and emotional abuse, manipulation and pressure during the marriage.
Along with this case, there is another civil case in Mumbai regarding a property owned by Celina. Her lawyer claims that Haag obtained the property’s gift deed through coercion.
The petition seeks several things, including compensation, alimony and decisions related to the couple’s children. Celina’s biggest concern is her three children, who are currently living in Austria with Haag.
She has requested Rs. 10 lakh per month as maintenance and Rs. 50 crore each for loss of earnings and for pain and suffering. The case will come up again on December 12th.
