Nikhil Siddhartha is carefully choosing his films to maintain the success rate and also the box office minimum guarantee hero image among his fans and common audience. He decided to go for back to back remakes. One of them, Kirrak Party, released in March and the next is going to go on sets soon.
It is the remake of the film, Kanithan, a Tamil Movie that did become a good hit with all young cast and crew. The same director re-wrote the script for Telugu audience and it is accepted by Nikhil. Now, we hear that Lavanya Tripathi got the chance to play the lead role besides Nikhil in the film.
As per the sources, director, T.N Santhosh approached her a few months ago and then went on to meet others as well. None of them impressed him as much as Lavanya it seems. He felt she is the perfect fit for the character and again approached her with the character arc and story details. The actress liked it and accepted the offer, it seems. Soon, she will join the shoot in Hyderabad and the movie is scheduled for a release by the end of this year.
