Director Vinoth announced a sequel to the acclaimed film “Khakhee,” a significant success in Karthi’s career. The original movie, based on the real-life ‘Operation Bawaria’ mission of Tamil Nadu Police between 1995-2006, received widespread praise from both audiences and critics.
Sources in the Kollywood industry confirm Vinoth’s plan for a sequel. Although currently occupied with a film featuring Kamal Haasan, Vinoth expressed intentions to proceed with “Khakhee 2” afterward. Reports mention the script for the sequel being prepared and set for finalization post Vinoth’s ongoing project with Kamal Haasan.
The director’s recent successful work with Ajith in “Valimai” adds credibility to these plans. Considering these developments, it seems Karthi might start filming “Khakhee 2” before “Khaidi 2” takes off, owing to Vinoth’s schedule and commitment to complete his current venture.
