As Jana Nayagan gets ready for its theatrical release but fresh industry reports suggest that one of the film’s key roles has been reduced in the final edit.
Pooja Hegde reportedly plays a journalist but several of her scenes were removed to maintain the film pace and keep the focus on Vijay‘s character and the main political storyline without fail.
This marks Pooja’s second collaboration with Vijay after Beast. The film has also gone through several changes, including new scenes, songs and edits following the CBFC process which may have resulted in the reduced screen time.
Jana Nayagan also stars Mamitha Baiju and Bobby Deol in important roles. Produced by KVN Productions and directed by H. Vinoth, the much-awaited film is all set to release in theatres tomorrow.
