Laatti Extended Weekend Report

Kollywood hero Vishal’s Laththi under the direction of A Vinoth Kumar had a theatrical release in Telugu as Laatti on December 22nd. Opened to poor word of mouth, the film has collected only Rs 0.95 crore share in 4-day extended weekend.Below is area-wise break-up data.

As per the reports, Warangal Sreenu bagged the Telugu theatrical rights of Laatti for Rs 2.8 crore. Including prints and publicity, the film should collect Rs 3.05 share to be a safe bet for the buyers. Despite negative word of mouth and having two straight Telugu films like Dhamaka and 18 Pages as the competition at the ticket windows, it is evident that Laatti failed miserably to mint decent revenues.
